Our "BOSS-BAG of "50/50 Sand & Compost Blend" is a blend of Mortar Sand (a fine, washed sand) and Compost. It provides a smooth, consistent texture for bed applications where a smooth, rich, and breathable bed is desired, yet fine enough for direct seeding. The filled weight of the BASS-BAG (BB) is about 1800-2200 pounds (1 cubic yard), depending on moisture content at the time of delivery.
